Installation

Please power off the vehicle before installation of the device.
Please refer to the following installation illustrations according

SIM Installation
- Make sure that the installed SIM card supports GPRS and is active
- Cancel the SIM Lock before installation into the device

Installation of GPS External Antenna
1. Suggest install the GPS external antenna outside the vehicle to get better gain.
2. It’s better to let the antenna face the open sky, though it is also acceptable to install it above the dashboard or face sky on rear window.
3. Do not suggest install the external antenna inside the vehicle, especially those with thermal insulation material which is made by metal and will shelter the GPS signal.
4. Please refer to the following illustrations to install the antenna.

Suggested Antenna Installation Locations

Operational Use

1. Set the APN
2. Connect to 12V or 24V power source of the vehicle
3. Send an SMS command to the device via the SIM card number, the
command is 510#0000#APN
4. Check the LED Status: When Orange LED blinks every 3
sec., it means GPRS connection succeeds.
5. Login to the service platform
